What’s the fastest you’ve ever been in a car?

_1.jpg

I’m not a very daring individual. I only joyride down a mountain when snowboarding — never racing.

So it comes as no surprise that the fastest I’ve ever been in a car was 136 miles per hour. It was in my Dad’s 1988 Sterling with my brother behind the wheel while in high school. We were cruising down a hilly back road in Georgia with some friends and decided to see how fast we could go. We chickened out at 136.

What’s the fastest you’ve ever been in a car?

143 in my 2000 Mitsu. Eclipse GSX in Southern Utah.

My Prelude topped out around 123…

I’ve only had a chance to get up to 120 in my WRX, but I think it’s got a way to go.

120 cause I’m a chicken. Now I don’t even like going 85. Must have something to do with working in the accident industry.

Boys are so interesting . . . They do MUCH different things growing up! I have no idea how fast I’ve ever gone in a car. Isn’t that funny? I never even paid attention!

I’ve gone plaid. Just like Lone Starr.

    @ Mark

We went faster than 120 in Ronco on the way to Snow College. That was awesome and stupid all at the same time.

140+ in an Aston Martin Vanquish just south of the Brigham City exit. (I got to drive it to Logan for a charity event).

203mph in Lamborghini Gallardo in I-80 West between the airport and Tooele.

I don’t think my mom would ever forgive me, so my lips are sealed! ;)

    Undisclosed. 2006 Subaru WRX STI.

120 in my Camry on a back road in Nevada from Searchlight to the California border. When I got to 120 I thought “OK THATS ENOUGH” it was kinda freaky.

    @ Tim,

No way Ronco went over 120. It would have fell apart. Plus, I think the speedometer maxed out at 100. It felt like 180 though and we really should have died that day.

35 in a Geo Metro going uphill on my way back to school with all my belongings as semi-trucks passed me laughing in scorn.
