Ugliest. Shoes. Ever.

The black coloring makes them look more discreet than they really are. When seen in-person, it’s as if I’m wearing ballerina slippers. (Ridiculous!) Nevertheless, I’m excited to review what’s been called the “next best thing to barefooting” on my daily runs—no heel crashing allowed. Wait for it.

I ran for a while barefoot (well, with thick socks on.) I had gotten a bad pair of running shoes that killed my shins, so I just ditched them altogether. While I enjoyed it, I like to run on the balls of my feet anyway. I did find that I couldn’t comfortably run more than 3 miles. Also, you can’t push yourself like you can with shoes.
I have been wanting to try the 5 fingers though.
