Top 10 computer animated movies

Though I widely disagree with DeadBolt’s Top 10 picks (Beowulf? You cannot be serious), the movie portal makes a strong case for most of their selections, with Pixar rightfully sweeping the top five slots. As for me, Ratatouille is easily the greatest computer animated film ever made, and one of the best feature films of all time — animated or otherwise.

I admit, I liked Beowulf more than I thought I would. I didn’t like Antz (film for the older crowd disguised as a kids film).

I’d say Beowulf is easily in my top ten. Seeing it in 3D IMAX blew my mind. The detail they were able to pull out of a single facial hair made me think “all movies should look as good”. Story aside, it was still awesome. (Polar Express was rather hokey, but 3D IMAX saved its skin a little.) Seeing Antz in their list is appalling.
I would HIGHLY suggest checking out Meet The Robinsons, especially in HD. It was a great movie, with time travel wackiness and very bizarre humor. Very underrated.
My top 5:
5. Meet The Robinsons
4. Beowulf
3. Ratatouille
2. The Incredibles
1. Toy Story 2
