Study finds American tourists messy, rude, and badly dressed

Findings from an Expedia.com global survey of 4000 hoteliers confirm some embarrassing stereotypes: that Americans are loud, demanding, and have no fashion sense when traveling abroad. Take it away, Divine Caroline.

Have you ever run into a German or French tourist down in Moab or Zions? Yeah…pot meet kettle…

As a citizen of the Czech Rep. I have to say that the American tourists are no way as bad as Germans. You can spot a german tourist form a mile away simply by looking at his sandals, pulled-up-high shorts with a tucked-in shirt exposing their hairy feet, long stockings and bloated beer bauch. And usually also a Canon hanging around his neck. I never understood how could so many people withstand looking so rediculous.
