Sometimes I read the comments and get some nice info on a product that I wouldn't have received if the comment wasn't there. It doesn't really harm the effectiveness of your post, but may actually enhance it. Plus, it's not you that is trying to sell the product. Just because you leave the comment doesn't mean you endorse what they are selling. I say leave them.
