Real Salt Lake’s new stadium looks hot and intimate

1.jpg

Lindsey and I are going to the Real Salt Lake stadium opener on Thursday, and I’m pretty stoked after seeing these newly released photos. In my life time, I’ve only seen soccer from a distance in make-shift football stadiums. Should be fun.

More pics after the jump…

From my office window I have a great view of the stadium 100 yards away. It has been awesome to see the progress over the last few month. The new stadium is sweet and will be a great place to enjoy a little futebol. Let me know if you want you could park in my office parking lot for free and walk to the Stadium.

    It does look nice. However,

    1. Soccer is boring in the US. All the good athletes play in Europe. That means sloppy play in the US.

    2. I hate building ANY pro stadium using taxpayer money. It is double worse to build a stadium for a sport that loses money every year.

    3. I do like the fact that Checketts has the balls to build the stadium across the street from Larry Millers office so that used car salesman can stare at it everyday.
