The problem was that corporates often aren't tasked with making a great product, rather they're tasked with pleasing and meeting the expectations of those involved in the process. And that turns out a horrible product. Cough, cough (Windows ME and Vista both come to mind.) I couldn’t help feeling that the “committee” did a great job.
