Puhlease! What is the point of Beckham moving to the Galaxy? To raise ratings and promote soccer awareness. With all the media that was at his first game, looks like he is doing what he came here to do. We can’t expect him to put LA on the global soccer map. We just wanted more stars to show up at American soccer games.
We will see what happens when football starts. That is when we will truly be able to measure Beckham’s marketing success. For some reason the phase “Beckham, who?” seems right around the NFL Kickoff Corner!
Sorry soccer buffs, it looks like there is only room for one futbol here and it is spelled football!

David Beckham apologized for this, and reminded people that he is committed, and under contract, to play for five years in LA!
Welcome to America, David, the stupidest, most selfish country in the world.
