Any tips for a first time cruiser?

Lindsey and I will be leaving on our first cruise this Saturday, departing from Miami on Sunday to tour the Caribbean. Any pointers for a cruising noob? Disembark? Don’t disembark? To the comments with you, kind reader!

NOTE: As a result of our travels, Smooth Harold will be on a publishing hold until Monday, February 18 at the earliest. Have a great week, everyone.

I’ve never been on a cruise either, but here are some things I think might help:

    1. Don’t lean over the edge of the boat
    2. Swimsuits are required in the pool
    3. Unlimited food + lots of spare time = Blake & Lindsey might gain weight

have a miami vice for me… or a lava, depending on where you are.

    pina colado + strawberry daquiri

give your self a few hours on the boat, and you’ll definitely want to disembark.

Have plenty of money to tip at the end. Trust me, it will be worth it!

When indecisive between the lobster or the fillet mignon, have both!

Make sure to get to the piano bar at least once. Though everyone else is usually drunk, it makes “Bennie and the Jets” that much more fun to sing!
